We are pleased to introduce Dr. Collin M. Blattner! Dr. Blattner received his Bachelors Degree Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University and his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon.
Dr. Blattner says he has a passion for surgical, pediatric and medical dermatology and has had the opportunity to work with and learn from many leaders in the field, enjoying medicine’s daily challenges. He also has a special interest in academic dermatology and has been mentored by numerous leaders in the field of dermatology including Dirk Elston, MD, past president of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Blattner has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications in highly regarded journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, International Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, Cutis, Dermatology Online Journal, Pediatric Allergy & Immunology, and Clinical Pediatrics. He has also written six dermatology textbook chapters and serves as a reviewer for Clinical Pediatrics and Pediatric Allergy & Immunology.
Dr. Blattner has given numerous lectures and professional presentations at the national level. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, Women’s Dermatology Society, and the Medical Dermatology Society. He also serves as Dermatology Faculty for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.
Dr. Blattner is serving his Dermatology Residency at Silver Falls Dermatology.
